Hearth Summit Bangladesh is a pioneering initiative dedicated to fostering conversations, driving innovation, and building a resilient community around mental health and wellbeing in Bangladesh.
Implemented by the Innovation for Wellbeing Foundation (IWF), the summit brings together policymakers, mental health professionals, community leaders, and advocates to create actionable strategies for a healthier society.
Our Mission
Our mission is to destigmatize mental health issues and provide accessible, culturally appropriate wellbeing resources across all regions of Bangladesh. We work in close collaboration with The Wellbeing Project to ensure global best practices are integrated with local needs.
Who Runs It
The Innovation for Wellbeing Foundation has been leading this work since 2015. It is the official license holder for the HEARTH Summit in Bangladesh and is responsible for the summit's overall coordination, design, and implementation, in partnership with British Council Bangladesh.
The Summit Series
Hearth Summit Bangladesh grew from the first Regional Wellbeing Summit in Asia into a series of summits across Dhaka and Cox's Bazar.
- 2024The Wellbeing Summit Dhaka 2024The first Regional Wellbeing Summit in Asia, hosted by the Innovation for Wellbeing Foundation in partnership with The Wellbeing Project. Over two days in Dhaka it brought together 230 delegates from 96 organizations and 36 change leaders.
- 22 February 2025Hearth Summit Bangladesh 2025 — Dhaka EditionHeld at BRAC University, Dhaka, for students, teachers and parents under the theme “Connecting Generations for Wellbeing & Growth”, with 1000+ participants.
- 25–26 February 2025Hearth Summit Bangladesh 2025 — Cox's Bazar EditionHeld at the BIAM Foundation, Cox's Bazar, for frontline humanitarian workers from 161+ organizations, on cultivating hope in crisis.
- 3–5 December 2026Hearth Summit Bangladesh 2026The upcoming flagship edition: the opening ceremony on 3 December, then two summit days on 4–5 December, all at British Council Bangladesh, Fuller Road, Dhaka.
